I need my internal flappers replaced, and It doesn't look like you can get a good weld to hold on the materail of my Quicksilver tips from Mercruiser. The original flappers are shot. How much will it cost, and where is the best place and brand, to get these? thanks.

Stainless Marine. My Mercs blew out 2 years ago for the second time. Replaced with the SM tips with the rubber edged SS flapper. Still going strong. They were reasonable too.

Thanks, what's their websight? What about Extremecustom marine? They have them for $62.10 + shipping ea. That has internal metal flappers with rubber coating as well. Has anyone tried them?

Try Eddie Marine as I know they have their own internals and I think they might even warranty/guarantee them???

They custom made me exhaust tips that had to bend with internal flappers. They sell them and they will stand behind their product.

I paid under $300 for custom bent exhaust tips with beauty rings.
