Default Dual inlet on water/ fuel separetor

I was going to do the two pickups from the tank into one line for a procharger setup. i bought the stuff to go from two 3/8 pickups into one 1/2 line. then i noticed the other " inlet" on the water separetor and just plumbed each pickup to each inlet, in effect running two 3/8 lines. It seems this would be better. Any one done this? Was it a better idea or am i missing something?

2 -3/8s would be better. I built a return line(s) in my sending unit cap.You are running a bypass reg?If you are really gonna flow some fuel get a Perma cool sep/filter$32 from Summit and flow 1500 GPH with 1/2 ins and outs(that's mount and filter)

I run two 3/8" fittings into the merc fuel filter assembly. BUT-the stock assembly takes 1/4" fittings, not 3/8". I drilled, tapped and ported the entire block. It would be easier to go with one from Permacool.

Thanks for the feedback. I've already drilled and tapped the merc to 1/2 ". I guess I did it right.
