Got my hands on the wheel of Hellfire..John Aruda of Turbine Marine's latest creation. With My friend and owner R.G. at the throttles we ran the Ft Meyers poker run this weekend.

one word....unbelievable,

Every aspect of this machine is intense. Coming on plane the turbines whine sends chills down your spine like a Gulfstream spooling up. At speed the 46 skater is very stable. The acceleration was stronger than my 30 ft outboard cat...nothing short of breathtaking. When the throttle man increases power he shoots a "water shot" like nitrous to the turbines..It sounds incredible and the boat pulls hard. While there are a lot of gauges to keep track of John Aruda has made this boat so simple to operate. The technology is here ...now. It was as tame as an average 40 + foot boat around the docks.

Cant wait to take it out again !!!!

I was very very very careful. I didn't want to have this type of call.....
