Trim pump flushing
#1
What is the best way to bleed out the fluid in your trim pumps?
Last year one pump had a loose cap and injested some water.
It was all brown and milky.
I drained the resivor and refilled with fresh fluid, and then ran the trim to try and clean it out
but it still is milky, I want all fluid out nad new through out.
what is the easiest and possibly the cleanest way to go about this?

A couple years ago I blew a hydraulic line going to one trim ram and it sucked in water.
Here's a link to a posting I did on how I flushed my system.
