plugged bypass/ filter bypass ?

Was I correct in reading that you could screw a plug or bolt in the bypass hole? If so what size? Also which filters have the built in bypass. Thanks for the help.

Filters are Baldwin B-1441.

I was told HP-6 has a by pass built in.

Yep baldwin b1441 and 1/2npt pipe thread. Just did mine. Oil pressure looks good.
