I would appreciate a reply from anyone that has tried props other than Bravo 4 blades on this boat. What have you tried and what improvements did you see.

Also, anyone try shorter drives on this?

Thanks in advance,
Rick

Todd,
I have spoke with Lonnie in that past and their testing to date on the Flame has only been with Merc 4 blades. He indicated that Merc was scheduled to come out and test with the new 5 blade but cancelled at the last minute do to the person leaving the company.

Last message I had with Gary was he used 4 blades on his previous Flames but I think he is going to get the new 5 blade on his new one. So maybe in the near future he will have some results to share with us.

Thanks for the replies guys,
Rick

I think ours runs pretty good in the rough. We run on Lake Michigan and that can be challenging water at times. There are boats that run better in the rough, i.e. Cig, Sonic, Apache. These boats have a sharper bottom and more weight. However, ours does alright.

Regarding speed, the ones I know about run 77 to 79 with 502mpi or 496HO and 87 to 90 with 500efi's.
