Default 28 Powerplay

I posted this in the powerplay owners forum and have not gotten any info I was wondering if anyone else knows about them! I know about the state of the company and all that bull I really dont care I have not heard much about these boats over the years and I would just like some info thats all!

Can anyone give me any info about the 28 powerplays! The difference in handling between a single, twin small blocks, or twin big blocks? What about speeds twin 330 454s or twim 350 small blocks stock? Any info that you guys have is appreciated
Thanks

I was lucky enough to have visited Powerplay in person a few years back and saw firsthand the awsome boats they made.

The hull of the 28 is or was, actually pulled from a blocked off 33 mold but with a different deck. This was how they used to do it as I was told by Bosco when he used to work there. I am not sure if the 28 has seen enough demand to justify a seperate mold for the hull or not. But at least the 28's running surface is derived from the tried and true 33.

In short, the 28 is a scaled down version of the 33, physically and visually.

Twins made the 28 a bit tail heavy, not to mention, a real ***** just to change spark plugs due to cramped space, so they prefered to do small blocks for the 28.

I have ridden in both a powerplay 28 and a pantera 28 and the cockpit and engine room are much larger in the pantera 28.
