Default Hi-Tech, anyone... need a 8" piece of Trailer Tongue

2" x 3" Box Tube, 8" long or so. Aluminum preferred, but Galvanized Steel is fine too.

Anyone have something they can hook me up with?

Driving from VA thru KY to LOTO next week, can pick up if in path.

I need to move my Trailer Tongue jack, from the actual Tongue of the trailer, back about a foot, over to the I-Beam. I need the piece of box tube to place between the tongue jack mounting plate, and the face of the I-beam to create solid support to move it out past the plane of the flanges of the I-beam.

Brian,

Call Jensen Manufacturing Co. in Alexandria, VA (703) 751-2015. They are on Duke Street. There is a guy there I think his name is Tracy. He made my aluminum wedges for my exhaust with fitting for the pyrometer probe.

ChrisK, I need to mount my Weight-Distributing Hitch right there.

John, checked Champion, and they won't ship less than 7 feet. Not a big deal, but was just hoping for something easy.

Todd, I will call you in an hour or two.

Ty, thanks. I will check them out.

Will a piece of 4" "C fit over the rails? I have some leftover 4x4x1/8 aluminum box, could easily cut you off and 8" piece.

Greg, that may work, but let me look at my options, and see what I can come up with. Thanks.
