I am looking for a new boat and would like to go with a cat. It can have either outboards or inboards. Must have a cabin of some sort. Would like to stay in the 30 to 35 foot range. What would you all recomend. would like to see mid 90's. Would like to consider them all even the ones that are small companies.
Thanks

The best CAT I have seen in that size range with a decent cabin is definitely eliminator. I would love to have a Skater but there are some major funds needed for a Skater with a cabin. I looked at a 30' eliminator last year that had a suprisingly nice cabin for a 30' CAT.
All I had to do was get a few insurance quotes and the idea of owning a CAT faded away quickly

When buying a cat you REALLY need to look closely and RIDE in them as well. I would look at only a few manufacturers because there are only a few that really build cats that can handle the bumpy stuff. They are and in no particular order:
Skater
Nor-Tech
Spectre
AMT
Good luck!

Shane summed it up pretty well. However, Skater Spectre and AMT build what I believe you are looking for.
All three are very similar boats built to the highest quality.
Realistic everyday speeds with these three boats will be between 105-115 mph with 300x's. I encourage you to make calls to the owners of these company's and discuss the characteristics of each boat.
I personally just finished building a 30 Spectre and am having a fantastic time dialing it in. Just a whole lot of fun to drive.
Call me with any questions
