Default Props

First Post, Thanks for all the good reading so far. I just bought a 99 Fountain 42' Lightning with Carbed HP500's and Bravo I's. My questing is on the props. Currently the boat with a half tank, 2 people and light gear runs just at 70mph on GPS. The props are Bravo I's with a 26 pitch. I am looking for a lower RPM Cruise and a higher top end. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

There are few options available for your Fountain. The Hydro P5-X is a prop that will give you the best overall performance. Your cruise speed will improve, you will maintain top end. Labbing the prop generally will net you 2-4 on the top. Feel free to call me anytime.

I'd like to cruise at 50, Not sure what the current RPM is for tha speed, I'll look this weekend. at 70. the RPM is 5200 to 5300 depending on the trim. Does this top speed sound correct for this type of setup?
