There are also two surveyors who keep thier boats at our marina. I had the one guy survey my checkmate for the buyer when i sold it. He seemed very competent in what he was doing/checking, and presented him with a full detailed "book" of the survey. He is SAMS certified. I chose him over the other one becuase he owned a couple performance boats, where as the other guy only owned cruisers.
