Side panel in the windsheild cracked...

Part of the glass on the side of our 27 1 cracked last year, been trying to get it fixed but the marina said that formula doesnt have any replacement parts for it, so we would have to use acrilic glass type stuff?? Is this true that formula does not replace that kind of stuff cause my dad kind of wants what was in there... err this would not be a problem if my dads stupid worker wasnt careless....

this is rambunctious at waterfoul's
I don't have the membership to post on the formula page
I had my wifes 250 lbs, 16 year old nephew lean and shatter our sideglass on our 272. I called formula and they told me the manufacturer (in Florida) I was able to replace mine with original equipment. they sent the pair . actually the same part, no sweep in that glass. so i have the other one. don't suppose it will fit do you????
i will try to remember or find the supplier. but try formula tech support and ask them the name and contact of the glass supplier from your era boat.
mine was tempered and did not crack, it shattered into 1 million pieces all over the boat, with 8 on board and a fishing tournament rolling in at the same time. not fun.......

Florida Marine Tanks (www.floridamarinetanks.com) was supplier for windwshields and fuel tanks. Great guys and they will fax you drawings and sell direct. I got all kinds of detail data about fuel tank and the wierdo VDO sender that Formula used.

My mom talked to the guy at the marina and he needs to know if its a starboard window or a port side.....? And if it would be able to get the hull # to your boat to see if the window on your boat would match the one on ours...
Hope this makes since,
Thanks

I just drove over to waterfoul's house to reply
this is the rear of two side panel glass on my 1988 272. the rear glass has no arc, therfore it works for either side. i will try to get the hull number, but until tomorrow, maybe 1988 272 rear wit no arc will be enough to find out.
I'll keep looking for the manufacturer. I only bought these last season. so I think there is hope.
