All things happen for a reason!!!

As you may know I purchased Pam a Donzi this weekend. Well she was so excited she made me take her to clean the boat. Well we hit the highway to BIG TIME traffic and after going no place for a while I just got back off the highway and went home. Next day it rained. Today I brought the boat around to work with me and at the end of the day when I finally got to the shop and walked in my brother told me to go out and look at my fathers Porsche. He tells me that before I freak out that the guys up the hill did it and they are feeling real bad. I walk out and look and down the ENTIRE side of the car it is SMASHED IN. Turns out they were pushing a truck into their shop and lost control and it went down the hill and smashed the car. Well had there not been traffic, if there had NOT been rain the new boat would have been there next to the Porsche and had gotten smashed worse then the car!!!!! I was so freeked out by it I could not leave the boat there and even though the trailer lights were not working towed it home.

Jon

That is a freak thing ,huh. Now on the flip side maybe the Bozos who were screwing around with the Truck may have used a better and safer method to move a Truck if your boat was in the way.. They really screwed up and I feel sorry for your Father. You got lucky, I bet these guys have learned a very good lesson. As my Dad would say when I did something stupid "I bet you were screwing around" In almost every case I was. I bet he wants to do this.

Years ago I had a accident in a Mercedes car lot. I had a 69 bug first car! I had to drop my mother off to get her car that had service work done.Mercedes something. As I started to back up the clutch cable broke and in a O CHIT state I smashed into the drivers door of a SL500. That was not a good day. The only reason I can think of for this to happen here was no one was hurt. I felt Knee high to a ant that day.

While I understand how you felt, keep in mind something broke on the car and caused the accident. You weren't screwing around. Could have happened to anybody. It was truly an accident and that's what insurance is for.
