He may not have won the race once the official results came in but it made for a terrific photo.

A marker broke loose and they didn't go around the turn boat. Nor did any boat other than Mid American that had the lead, turned around the get the mark and still came in second.

Hmmm. Funny thing those markers. Seems that I remember the same thing happening in Milwaukee. Could there be a conspiracy? Anybody know of other races that Gordo was at where the markers broke loose?
