I'm the new owner of a 28' Active Thunder (Jafo's boat) & need to get a new fuel pump & starter and just have a general check done on the motors.

I'm up in Ocala, but am willing to drive to someone that does a good job; most of the boats in my area run outboards & I've had bad experiences with several of the mechanics in the area (drunk on job, miswiring, etc.). This is a great boat & I don't want to take any chances with it.

Doug, I just took my Formula to Nick today. I saw your Hustler there. I have my other boat at Force Ten with Ray.

This is a little late, and further away, but, Todd Garthwait of Coastal Marine here in Nokomis (just south of Sarasota) does a real good job, is a certified Premium or whatever Merc service center. He's done all the work on my boat, been more than satisified with the results, and he gives all OPBA members a 15% across the board discount. I would highly recommend him.

It's nice to know there are many service sites to choose from in our general area with personal recommendations from members of our board who can vouch for them.
