Transmission fluid what are you using?????
What kind of fluid are you using in your trans????? I have had a problem with one of my trans and a builder is telling me to run 5w 30 in it to keep the clutches hooked up as to it will add pressure.

Old school type F in my Merc II trans. I've heard that anything with dextron may cause it to fail. I don't know if that's true, but the F seems to work fine.

I have B&M Trick Shift in mine (merc Trans). They shift better then with standard fluid and also seem to run cooler (checked with IR gun)
