525sc require 93 octane no marina sells anything above 90 does anybody feel ocatne boost to cover 100 gallons would be safe and which kind works?

My Whipplecharged 502 motor requires 91 minimum octane. According to the instructions that came with the Whipplecharger, octane boost is not recommended. An example stated that octane boost would only raise the octane by 1/2 point (87 to 87.5). They were not specific about brands.

They DO NOT work, best bet is to add some Race gas to the mix.

How about adding Xlene or Toulene.From what I've heard you can mix up to about 30% for a increase of aprox. 6 whole numbers.It is available at paint stores and is about the same cost as premium fuel if purchased in 40 gal barrels.
