Default O/T Handheld/Portable GPS/Chartplotters

I'm looking for a good handheld or portable gps/chartplotter that I can move from boat to boat. Handheld is not really a big deal as I really think it will be mostly used plugged into power and hopfully mounted in some type of suction cup movable mount.

Anyone got any experiance with something like this or know of which units to buy or not to buy?

Thanks

I'm sure glad you posted this because I'm going to buy one too and I really don't know much about them. I seem to be leaning towards the Garmin 76cs.

I just purchased the Garmin 60c with suction mount. waterproof , color, mapping,Waas technology...all the goodies.

Heres the deal

West Marine will match prices. Look on the net for your cheapest price. print bring into store.

West marine really steps up with this deal.
