Lightbulb Cigarette Tiger at Dick Simon

Anybody know any history of the 2001 Tiger with 1000 Zul's and #6's for sale at Dick Simon. It is mostly blue with some red flames.

Havasu Cig may know something about it. I believe it is a 2000 straight bottom.

$325k seems extremely expensive for that boat.
I think 'Oh Behave" in your area is priced at $215 with same #6's and Merc 900SC's it's the same hull but a 99 instead of a 2000 but list price is $110k less...

Oh Beehave is gone ... went down about two weeks ago.

$325 does seem a bit much ... but, that is definitely one of my favorite Tigers of all time.

IDRPST or Stinson would have a lot of knowledge about it.

A bit much? That Tiger is way overpriced. You would be better off with a 01 twin-step with 575,s.There have been several sold recently in the $225-250 range.

your right about the 2000 Flat bottom, and it is way overpriced in the ad. Somebody at Dick Simon said they where dropping it to $ 275K. Anybody know what the weight of a 2000 Tiger is. i have seen 9800 lbs in some literature and 11,500 somewhere else.

There is another one at Lipship for $ 295,000 about the same, amybe better looking paint.

I was just trying to be nice ... I do know the market .... I know how hard it was and what it took to move "Oh Beehave".

Nice boat but as others have said way overpriced. The owners definitely do NOT need the money though, so it might sit for a while. The owners are in the Casino business. Semper Fi used to tow their boats for them, maybe he will chime in.

"Oh beehave" is at Teagues right now getting some new 1000's.

I also rode in that boat with Stinson and BG#2 and BatGirl in February of 2001. It ran very strong back then. Stinson said it was capable of triple digits, but we only got it up to about 87 in rough seas before we took a wave over the side of the engine compartment which wet one of the distributors, and cut our ride short.

A friend here on OSO, has taken a few close looks at that boat. This person has a very similar boat already, and expressed his interest in liking a project. From what was relayed to me, from this person, it really is a project. It needs paint cleaned up, motors and drives freshened, and a few other things. Perhaps this person will speak up; but those are all the details I have.
