Boating on Father's Day

After about 12 hours work spent over the last 4 days, she back up and running. Don't think the bildge will ever be as clean as Dave's again though.
Hooked up with two other fathers, we fueled up, and went for a test ride this morning. All good to go.

Happy Father's Day! to all the daddies out there...

Happy Fathers Day Pat - (and all other Super Dads (not me, none that I know of)

I was finally able to splash her on late Sat. Afternoon, I missed the NYC run, but at least I'm back in!! Shes running Strong again, Holden does great work.... The sound was a little nasty so we only got up to @72 . Plus I had the fiance with me screamin and slappin me the whole time. Blew my deck pad off..spent a good half an hour looking for that. Its great to be back out there. I'll spend the rest of the week waxing and hopefully putting the second mayfair piston on..

Hey Sean,

My pad came off a few times too. Thanks for GPS I always found it. I took a 1x2" and put it into the zippered compartment on the back of the pad. Then I used wood screws from the bottom of the hatch into the 1x2. It never came off again.

hey Dave... Thanx for the tip.. Mine usually never comes off unless some snaps are off, but because my F@%#ing hatch accutator is shot I have to resort to popping the snaps, opening the port hole and pulling the pin out of the piston, Then I have to use a paddle to keep her open. I put the pin back in when I'm running so she doesnt pop open.(I think I saw a picture of another SBr with ye ole Paddle for the cover lift too...) I guess I never snapped the pad back in properly on Sat... Those tab locking snaps are a PIA! But I dont care I'm running good so I'm happy (for now..)

Hey Pat...
I was out in the afternoon...boat ran great, the breeze really held the nose. It's really nice when it all finally comes together. How old is your little one? Mine's 7+ mos. Still too young for anything but a put-put cruise. Happy belated Fathers' Day to all, and to all a 'good night'.

Our son is 18 months and finally when boating a couple of weeks ago.
I'll try to post a picture. gotta figure out that resize thing.
Are you going to make the run to Claudio's with us?
We can meet you at the mouth or at bell 8?
Let me know, only a couple takers from our side of the pond so far...

Henry's first day of boating...
On the Superboat, well he was a little scared.
Then on friend Alie's party barge, that worked a little better...
Alie's mom decided she wanted to drive the Superboat...
