Default (Boat Crash) Royal Purple Poker Run

Looks to be a 33-34 Scarab .On Saturday about 7pm we where heading back in and saw this Scarab up on the bank resting against the house at Kings Point. It hit the sea wall pretty hard , I don't know if anybody got hurt , The rumor is it was porpoising in the turn and he trimmed down and it hooked ?The river is wide there and its not a bad turn .There would have been a lot of traffic at this time the poker run was over and everybody was leaving the Prop Stop bar .

We left Monday morning and talked to some people from that area didn't know how it happened either.I just hope everybody was OK.

The pictures are from Sunday morning we we went back out.

We talked to Charlie Albert that puts on the Tickfaw 200 Poker run and he said he is waiting on the insurance co to get started to remove it . They were talking about dragging it back in to the water. I would figure they could pick it up an set it on the trailer. It does not look like it hurt the pole that supports the house.

Presumably someone checked the bottom and there are no leaks or cracks? Hitting a seawall doesn't sound like the condition for refloating.

I don't know if you can see from the picks the side behind the driver was mashed in and the guy taking pictures in the pick where taken pictures on the inside there also . I figure one of the pylons went thru there , I could not see the bottom but I bet it will not float.
