Default alernator alignment

I replaced the alternator on my 89 454 mag. The pulley doesn't seem like it is far out enough to be inline with my circulating pump pulley. Any suggestions, can you shim this or would you advise some other tricks. The innermost groove on the pulley (three row- v-belt) would seem to interfere with the hoses. Thank. It is an aftermarket Delco-style replacement alterntor.

First off if it dosent line up correctly and the old one did, I would try to put the old pulley on the new alt. My buddy has been fighting a belt misalignment for a while now, it sucks to have to change a belt everytime you run hard!! You have be able to shim the new alt, but i wouldnt do too much, i would really look for the old pully if it is giving you troubles
