Default Leaking steering rams.

I'm sure someone has been through this. Do I just pull off and
take somewhere to be rebuilt? How do I bleed the system after re-install?
Any ideas on who can fix them in my area. Of course I don't want the down
time. Boat is in the water now. I clamped off my line so Its not leaking while
sitting. Any help? Is this normal? 02 boat 250 hours. Thanks, Jc

This is an easy fix you can perform yourself. The seal is only an o'ring that you can get at most local auto parts stores. Once reassembled and on the boat, run the engine and turn the drive from stop to stop, check fluid and do this a few more times, you should be good to go!!! It's easy.

If there is still air in the system, do a search, there are numerous threads on the bleeding procedure.

Good luck...
