Default Quickfuel Carbs

Anyone out there used one, or more of these on their boat yet ?

I'm asking because I have a friend who is considering them after an engine builder said hes put a few on engines, and the've worked great right out of the box ? In fact, on the dyno, even the jets were almost "right on" with multipe engine combos.

Personally, I didn't see it, just heard it.

Thanks

Marv and Marty were both engineers at Holley for years. They both had input on the HP series. Personally I have never used one. Personally I have sold a 100 or so of their carbs in the past. Everyone was happy.

Chris,

Thanks. No reason to slam anybody. It doesn't do any good. If you feel you have a better product (which I do 100%) then just prove it.

Thanks guys, it's good to have all positive opinions so far. I think he ordered them the other day & they'll be about a week or so before they're done.

Does Quick Fuel have a website or a phone number? I have a pair of HP950 Holleys (stock) and I am not sure what mods can be done to a stock Holley carb for marine use and have it still be user friendly. Can they get things close enough by giving them your engine specs without actually taking your entire engine to them? Does a person have to buy a carb from Quick Fuel or can a person send them what he already has and have it modified? Heck, I don't even know if it is worth the expense. What can one expect from a modified carb? I would appreciate any answers. Thanks

Mark
