My boat is gone!!!

Well after advertising for what seemed an eternity I finally sold the Top Gun today. I know the new owner will greatly enjoy his new boat. It will be kept at Miami Beach Marina on a lift and he lives real close in a condo. One down, one to go!!!

She went for $185,000 without the trailer. I had some people that were interested but just kept lowballing offers..... I almost just dumped it to stop the aggravation but now I am glad that I waited. Its amazing some of the guys that were interested would hem and haw about 185 then turn around 2 weeks later and spend 265 at national for the same boat. I think my biggest fault was being very honest about the condition of the boat. I described every detail and flaw to people before they spent money to come look at it... I think that some people factored in the normal misrepresentations of some sellers and never came to look at it. The buyer was here 20 minutes looking, we dropped it in the water took a ride and the money changed hands. Done!! He apparently recognized a good deal and grabbed it. He will have many hours of good performance from that boat, I sure did.

I'm glad to see that you hung in there and waited for a good home for her.
