Thinking of Buying 2003 280 SC

I just found this group and am looking for a little advice. I am thinking hard about purchasing a 2003 280 SC with twin 350 mags (merc). The boat is new (leftover) but has 20 hours on it. and they are 20 hard hours from boat shows. The boat has a few minor flaws but is priced pretty well. I currently own a 240 Four Winns bowrider that I purchased in Detroit and used in Lake Saint Clair. Moved to Annapolis and the Bay is beating me up and I think I would like to overnight. I have been looking at comparable Formulas and Cobalts but am partial to the lay out and speed of the PQ. Any advice on making the purchase? Anyone had any dealings with Tome's Landing in Port Deposit MD?

Does it have Bravo Ones or Bravo III? Ones would be better from a performance stand point. The 280 PQ does have a great design. Between the PQ , 280 Formula, and 285SSI Chaparral all three boats have good lines and good performance if you get the 350 mags or the new 6.2.
I can attest to PQ's great factory support. Good Luck on whatever you do.
