I'm here surfing the site and I just heard a loud and nicely tuned P/B hauling a** across the lake near me.

Is it just me, or is this not a REALLY bad idea?

I know there are only a few boats capable of that sound on this lake, and this is the 2nd time I've heard it in the wee hours.

I'll be sure to have my lights blazing if I decide to weekend out on the Lake anytime soon.

You should have your lights blazing at night, regardless of whether this joe is out or not.

We just had somebody nail some debris in front of our marina late at night a few weeks ago. They were running wide open like you would in the middle of the day. Next thing you know is there is a loud banging noise. The boat stops, paddles come out and they get pulled into our marina. After being assisted in getting the boat on trailer, they found the lower half of the outdrive hanging on simply from the hydraulic rams for the steering. I agree, its not a good idea to run WOT at night.

I'll try to find out who it is, so we all know who to avoid.

If you said that there are not too many boats capable of that, it should not be too hard. That or wait till you see one of them on a rack with half the drive ripped off.

Finishing up with Gainesville on Tuesday. One on one with the Psych doc and doing my polygraph. Then heading back to Pittsburgh to make some more money and get some more stuff done with the marina. Picking up a line with Sternlock. Also getting the website put all together. Should have called you to try and get some boating in this weekend. Rained the whole time up here so I never made it to the beach. But I will be back. You in Ga now or Fla??

We were coming back from the Lantern Inn about 1:30. Took a nice slow ride with the Moon light it was nice.
