Hey guys I just purchased my first Sutphen. Well at least my first, my father owned 2, a 17' and a 20'. Mine is a 1981 20' with a 1993 Mercury 275. I got hooked when we had our 20 and was lucky enough to find one a couple of towns over from me in Connecticut. Actually our old 20 is owned by a friend of mines brother. Anyway I am trying to get some pics of mine on here for ya. Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello to some other fellow Sutphen owners as I know they are a rare breed. By the way she flies with that big Merc on the back...

I am looking to buy a new Sutphen 210.
I have been in contact with the boys in NJ and I hope I can get one together by this summer. A friend of mine had a 20 and a 30ft. Sutphen and I always wanted one.
Now is the time.
Anyone have any feedback as to how they are in 3-5 ft seas?

As for the 3-5 foot seas, I'd skip right up to the 30. The 20 footer will handle it, but you'll get pounded.
