Wink LARRY SMITH ( Scarab ) He Still Around ?

Looking at a Kevlar Hull by Larry Smith and wondering if hes still around for questions. Im told Kevlar Repair is hard to come by. Im on the West Coast, so any leads would be appreciated. If Larry is around and someone has a contact for him, that would be great.

Thanks All, Bill Mac @ 949-680-7060 ( [email protected] )

Try his office at Team Scarab in the Ventura area:
(805) 969-6929 Leave a message and he will usually call you back.

Let me know if that doesn't work. I have his cell also.

BTW, is this an old Betty Cook boat that was never rigged from Nor Cal? Or is it the one at Honker Cut with the Arnesons? Just curious.

There were at least a couple made by GAC. The one's that I saw are identifiable by their softer sloping deck in front of the dash. Probably other changes but that one is most noticable. One was white with triples and another was red with staggered twins (Sean McWhinney's). The red one is probably still owned by Carson at Brummet Marine in LA. Don't know where the white one is now or how many others were made. Dan M. at Archer Marine in Costa Mesa probably rigged a few of them so check with him for more info. MikeJ on this board may have some info too.

Do you have any pics of the one you are asking about?
