Default Hurricane??????

Looks like the eye of this tropical storm is headed straight here.
Local news is saying a hurricane by landfall tomarrow.
Funny, stores are flooded with people. we have experienced cat. II that were nothing more than a rain shower and no names that did huge amounts of damage just under the torpical storm wind speeds.

If its comming - make the best of it.

I hope it does not reach hurricane strength......the panhandle area has had enough for a while.

Yeah, It's an interesting start to the season. Funny, Monday on the way beck from Ozarksm Suz and I were talking about the fact we have not watched the news or weather and may be driving back to a hurricane. It's here......
It will be long gone by the poker run. Weather following a tropical storm or hurricane is generally very nice. We should have a great week for the run and races.

Bill - I feel your pain. Been there done that many times over the years and I'm sure I haven't done it for the last. Looks like it will at least be moving faster when it makes landfall.

Good Luck and hopefully we'll see you in Orange Beach for the poker run Saturday

Reed

Dave, The beer cooler is packed, Ice chest loaded....bar full.

We live on the water with a well..... so power out will require a 12V battery and the ole bilge pump to keep toilets full for the girls.

Last year, we took the boat out to the pass about 12 hrs before arrival, great rough water skills practice. The rollers were huge but wide spacing made them fun.
