I think I mentioned this before, but the mirage plus 29 acts like a 31. I doubt you can turn it. But, good luck, if it works you will be flying.

Dave, I'm turning a 30 pitch Bravo One now at 5000 rpm (rpm range 4700 to 5000+ on my 496HO). I plan on getting the Mirage plus labbed by Houston Propeller. I tried a 27 pitch MP early this spring and had lots of stick left to go before hitting the limiter at 5150 rpm. I figure the worst-case scenario is that my Bravo One is really a 28.5 pitch (I've heard they're 1.5 less in pitch than as marked), and that the 29 MP is two pitch higher than marked (31), netting me an actual difference of 2.5" in pitch. If so, can't Houston make up the difference with labbing? Maybe not, if 200 rpm = 1" pitch, I'd need 500 rpm to get back to 5000 rpm. Probably can't get with labbing?
