Our New Jersey Loaner Could Change Our Minds
Here we are in New Jersey. Our 38' Gun stayed home. But, thank god for Uncle Arnold. We have use of the pleasure edition X-race boat "Rolling Thunder." Boy what a difference between a V bottom and a Cat. Could see a change soon. Never had to wear goggles in a boat before! Speeds are just blistering. Sunglasses use to work just fine, but not at 104 MPH! HOLY ****!

Lucky says this shirt may have to go. A few more days of Cat riding and Vs could be out of our life for now.

I know what you mean we were thinking of jumping to a 35-38 boat and then road in a few 30-36 cats and our outlook on new boats changed really fast. 10-20mph faster with same power

Those cats sure are nice. If it wasn't for the insurance regulations, there would be very little market for the V's. Cabin space and lower insurance are the only advantages to a V. My .02c.

Lucky, I saw you guys over at the Water's Edge today (Sunday)... The boats looked great when you were buzzing the tower..
