My parents have... or should say had a place in Dundee Florida they got threw on the phone to some neighbors I guess the place is messed up bad. My mother is beside herself with worry and they cant get down for another week to check it out. Is anyone close enough to Dundee to get me some pictures.

Brad, where exactly is Dundee?

It's about five miles east of Winter Haven, about three miles south of Haines City.

I talked with my mom today she said the will leaving Monday to come down. My uncle's home is a complete loss. They are upset but well insured. My prayers to all effected in Florida and those in Carolina... Hurricane's suck!

Anyone going to check out damage should make sure they have proof of ownership (ie. property tax bill, etc.). My parents had a place in Surfside beach, SC destroyed by Hugo in 1989 and if you didn't have proof of ownership the national guard wouldn't let you in.

I wish everyone the best...my parents had a miserable time and the insurance company was a PITA
