your boat still for sale? What do you want for it now? I am trying to compare your price to a 1998 with 502s I found. Did you get the problem you were having with the engine fixed?

My boat's almost always for sale but I've never listed it anywhere. I think my September price is $74,000 but I would have to check. As I've said before, my selling price goes down $500 each month.
In October, I have decided to list it in the Boattrader for the first time just to see what happens. My price in the Boattrader will be $73,500. The thing with me is that if I still have my boat by February, it stays mine for another summer. Unlike 99% of the guys who are selling their boats so they can get something bigger, I'm selling cause I plan on getting out of boating entirely. Because of that, it doesn't really kill me to keep it. By knocking $500 off the price each month, eventually it will be priced so low that someone will grab it. As a matter of fact, when I list it at $73,500 in October, that will be by far the lowest price I've ever seen for a 496HO 29.

BTW - that issue I had with the engine was not really an issue with the engine. One of my trim limit sensors on the drive went bad. Since those sensors are wired into the "Smartcraft" system , the system detected the failed sensor and shut the engine down as part of it's "protect" feature.
Nice feature right???

That's not a little on the high-side, it's way on the high side!!!
For only 5 grand more you could have mine. It's 3 years newer, probably has 100 fewer hours, and has 496HO's vs. 502's!!!
Like I said, $51,500 should be the most you pay.
