i have p5's on my 31 american offshore and i like them a lot. they seem to be slightly slower on top end but i like they way they stay hooked up in the rough water and they dont require as much positive trim. seeya

its a 95 31 sxt, two 509s with 250 blowers spinning 29 hydros with 1.36gears. imco stand off boxes, seems to me theres to much wetted surface still, ex dim? just got the boat sunday still playing and learning the diff from v to cat.

With a little more seat time you will have a better feel for her. Then we can run some numbers and look at the efficiency of the prop. Note the attitude of the boat as well.
