Default Joe Pattis v-9

Did anyone get any photos of Verns boat after the race? I had to leave before the start. I want to know how bad it is after the fire.

On the second lap they lost the coms and then they came back with lots of static then smoke.
They pulled off and jumped out.
Vern told me they were able to crane it out last night. The hatch is gone and that is all I know.
A picture of the boat would help.

I talked with Vern. He said it started at the trim pump. The boat is a mess. I will see it thursday or friday.

It's BAD the canopy is shot, the canopy lid is shot, All the wiring in the engine compartment is cooked, I would think the whol cockpit was cooked too. Was the no halon or fire extinguisers in this boat?

The Halon did not go off. The smoke got Verns right away when he came out of the lid. 100+gal fuel and fire = get the F**k out in my book. He got Sam out and then shut off the kills and the swithches before getting out. He was more worried about Sam being that he is a rookie this year.

The main thing that counts is that Vern and Sam are OK. Thank you to everyone who came to their assistance.

Was with Vern Monday Morning, he stopped by to say good by to The Jersey Boyz. He is in very good spirits for all that has happened. We made him laugh a little to forget about $hit for a while. I know Vern a long time, this ain't gonna set him back or keep his a$$ on the couch! Watch out when he does come back, all hell might break loose. Augie
