I stopped in their rigging shop, lots of really nice boats should be hitting the water soon.
But, what is the story with the molds. Are the all original, or derived from another companies, or bought from a now defunct boat maker? They said they are all layed up in the Northern midwest, Wisconsin maybe?

MTI and Fountain used to be "in kahoots." I have limited knowledge of the history. "42MTI" on the board can give you first hand scoop on the history of the company and it's products.

They're supposedly laid up near Green Bay Wisconsin, and then trucked down to St. Louis for rigging. I guess they are looking to consolidate the two operations.

The MTI's are some kind of a Victory/Skater derivation...... do the math.

P.S. Is anyone following the recent dq's of the MTI supercat engines in OSS? Maybe the "speed secret" is extra HP?

Wow,I am surprised to hear that a stand up team such as the Pro Marine team of John and Todd would be bending the rules that much, but rules are rules and they got popped, bummer.
