Cool movie!!
The boat chase is incredible. Imagine driving that fast down those narrow waterways.
Trivia:
The Venician government wouldn't allow the film crew to rehearse the chase. They would only allow the filming. All the boats had GPS's with the route and timing programmed into them. The second boats GPS failed just as filming started and the driver had run the course off memory and hoped his speed was correct. Which it was.
The sequence we see in the final cut was actually the second take. The director didn't like how the police boat ran up onto the barge so he asked if they could do it one more time. Once again the driver had to run it by memory.
