"Newbie" salt water flush question

Forgive the ignorance of my question... I'm a fresh water boater. I'm taking my Pantera to Navarre/ Destin for Labor day weekend, on a painted Myco (c-channel- no box frame cavities).
I bought the flush kit from Marc/Bam for my XR, and found ramps with fresh water as well as a hotel with good parking and fresh water hose for me to use.
I'm a little anal, but also a little practical- is it sufficient (As opposed to sacrilege or barely acceptable) to flush once on Monday (boat exterior, drive/engine and trailer/spring packs) vs doing the same routine Sat night, Sun night and monday afternoon? It's a fast and furious mini vacation- don't want to cut into the fun time too much. This will be the first salt since the boat was tested new. won't see any more til maybe next yr for a similar trip. still have six+ weeks of fresh water boating at home too for the ultimate flush. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

If you have aluminum heads, I would flush the motor after each use. Otherwise, I would think you are safe to flush everything at the end of the weekend. It wouldn't hurt to fog the motor before you head home too.

YOu'll be fine with the one time flush. Another suggestion is to wipe down e eything metal with a little WD-40, help the corrosion.
Lastly this is something I do when I flust our race motors after a salt race. I rigged a liquid garden fertilizer attachement to run in-line with the hose. I fill it 1/2 way with CLR cleaner and run it through the system. Not sure if it helps but I hate salt. Also make sure you fog the motor at the end of the weekend.

I agree...salt away or any liquid detergent is a plus to help flush the system.
I also spray everything down with CRC, including the drive and the entire motor and all wiring terminals to inhibit rust or corrosion.

So, I'm not sure on the fogging- I'll be home about 1 AM Tuesday and at noon I can splash in the lake, run it 10 minutes and put it on the lift in the slip. Won't that "superflush" the last of the salt?? Fogging just does the internals which sees a fuel air mixture and motor oil etc on the cylinders. So the only salt is what's in the air- won't that be heavily offset by the fuel/oil and then the fresh air running when I get home??
I realize I did not tell anyone I'd be able to dunk her in the freshwater so soon when i got back.

You probably have nothing to worry about with a one time salt excursion. just some food for thought from guys who boat in salt all the time. Have fun on your trip

the CRC product is 6-56 rust inhibitor. it should be available at most marine stores i buy it by the gallon, but its available in aerosol cans as well.
