Default Help.....boat shopping

Where are the best places to go boat shopping around LOTO for a 24 to 30 ft performance boat?

Lots of different place, tons of dealers here just depends on what brand/type of boat your looking for. I live here so let me know if I can help more, my 31' Formula FasTech is available on a trailer.

I'd love to be able to buy your boat, but unfortunately, I'm looking for something a little cheaper...like a Baja or ???

Cowgirl....

24 to 30 is a pretty big size range. (Even though it's only a difference of six feet.)

24 you are probably looking at a single high HP power, while by the time you get to 30 (most) boats will have twins.

I realize that there are some light 29s with huge singles, but you know what I mean.

I would make a decision between single and twin and then go from there... and speed isn't always increased with that additional engine and drive. I have twin small blocks in a 26, and many 24s with big singles can blow me away.

What's your price range? I'm needing to get rid of my boat so it's neg, but I know of a lot of others as well.

I'm looking for a single engine boat. Right now I have a Carver with twin engines. I love twin engines, but for now I think a single engine is the best way for me to go. A little less maintenance I have to worry about. I'm HOPING for my first performance boat of staying in the low $30's. I'll be happy with a 24 foot boat, but I'm keeping my options open.

You should be able to pick up a 96 or so Fountain 27 for that range. I sold my 95 boat 2 years ago for $37K and it was very nice. Took it to Raymonds to broker it and it was gone in a week. There are a ton of brokers and shops here so you just need to start the hunt.

There are a lot of nice boats for that kind of money. It's a buyer's market.

You should have a lot of options.
