Hey man, what's the dealio? Do you know what we call that little brass ring that goes in front of the prop? Yea, it's the THRUST WASHER! I just wanted to point out that little omission. Don't worry about it. The prop rode very nicely on the housing and it set it's own clearance.

Actually I have, several times in fact. But I've never been handed a box of parts to do it with. I normally just get a prop, a nut, and a washer....job done. Not a bunch of splines, spacers, metric hammers, flux capacitor, duct tape, one way lock tite, super secret grease, and a 2x12 to do it with.
