KILL (barnicle)BILL?

Anyone know of a product that will aid in getting old dry barnicle bases of a hull without eating the paint (not anti-fouling bottom paint) just good ole' AWLGRIP.

Muriatic acid will do it. Scrape them down with a paint scraper then wipe with the acid. They will sizzle right off. Don't ask why I know this.
