Smile Happy Labor Day!!!

Lets make it a safe one, if you see someone jacking around be nice and polite and tell them that we all share the water and that we all are looking for the same thing...fun, sun, safety, and no repairs. This is the weekend to push it though, there are months ahead to rebuilt motors and drives so don't be afraid to make that top speed run...unless of course the cost of the repair is a determining factor. It is for me but I would have 6 months to save and do it myself. No wife or kids mean the 502's come in the house and are now furniture. This is the first boat I have ever owned, regardless of size or power, that I can honestly say will stay sealed for next season. I am amazed at the reliability of these puppies, I still have almost 2 months to run but I can see no reason to worry, 100 hrs and not a cough. I need new wires, rotor and cap but that is just normal and I do keep a set in the boat so I am half way there. The rest has been hassle free. I hope to see some of you out, we can dodge the weather and still keep dry. Rain hurts at 50 you know, any faster and they become tiny rocks Please be safe, we will be looking for you on Tuesday with stories and pictures. HAVE FUN, DON"T DRINK UNTIL YOU ARE DOCKED.

Happy Labor day to you too. At least as happy as it can be since our northern boating season is winding down
