I currently have a B3 outdrive with a 1.81 outdrive ratio. I want a B1 and I know the uppers are the same on the drives. Knowing this I have a choice of either buying a lower and having a 1.81 ratio out drive or I can buy another whole 1.50 out drive. What would you guys recommend? and would there be any advantage to using a 1.81 ratio? I know I would have to use higher pitch props but is that an issue? Thanks Dwight
