I was rafted up on the lake last weekend and someone walking across another boat fell on my boat breaking my windshield. He was a guest and not a boat owner. He admited fault and said he would pay but now I seem to be having trouble getting in touch with him. What should I do? the windshield cost $865 and I'm not going to claim it on my insurance since I have a $500 deductable. I have already paid for the windshield. Should I go after him or should I just absorb it and be done?

The guest should get a big scarlet "S" that he/she has to wear when boating so that people will only let them on the swim platform.

I say go after him...................but in todays world, he'll probably develop a back pain and sue you for have improper signage warning that the deck was slippery and some lib judge will award him a million $$.
