traditionaly the 7 foot beam boats are better in rough water.
Martin- is your boat more or less sensative to tab input? just curious because i have never thought about it until you mentioned tab usage as and i know your excal is a 7 footer. hows it running by the way? we have been hitting the bay on thursdays for dinner and drinks (no water
) have you guys been mostly hanging at Kellys?

the 27 activator has a 7 foot beem and does good in f1.if you think about it it would probably need more tab down than a 8ft to keep from rocking but would slice through waves better like a knife.is super boat 7 ft beam also?.my kryptonite is a 8 foot beam i like the hull alot but if there is 1 thing I would change about it would be to go from 22 degrees to 24 and leave the 8 foot beam.
