We dodged Charley and Frances, but Ivan seems to headed right for us in Sarasota. And because of that the Sarasota County Humane Society is trying to move out as many animals as possible. The good people at the Atlanta Humane Society have agreed to take all 136 cats and 30 of our 70 dogs. Now we have to get them up to Atlanta - quickly. Like Sunday. Does anyone have access to a 25'+ air conditioned truck that will hold this many crated animals? Or a large open air livestock-type trailer?
