I am in the process of installing the exhaust through the transom of my 28 and need some information.

I have a mercruiser template for Bravo Drive/Big Block Engine Hole locations, but I'd like the dimensions confirmed by some of you with 28 singles.

The distance between centers on the template is 27.375. I measured my 24 exhaust and it is 28" so I'll use that.

What is the distance from the center of the drive shaft to the center of the exhaust? Or even the distance from the bottom of the rub rail to the center of the exhaust?

I'd like to do this work this weekend if anyone can measure and post this info this fast.
