Looking for Lodging, and Boat Ramp at Grand Lake, OK
#1
Hello,
Me and a few friends are looking to go to Grand Lake in the next few weeks, just to get away, and also to be on a different body of water than LOTO.
What is a good place for a powerboater to stay??? With a covered boat slip if poss??
Also where is a good Launch Ramp??
We are taking my 26' Eliminator, are there many other fast boats on that lake??

Lake may be a little quiet now, more "regulars" will jump in I'm sure. Slips are around, covered is more rare. Some older stuff too, be sure to ask about width- some slips barely big enough to wedge a bass boat in with a gallon of KY. Plenty of fast boats frequent the lake, even an Eliminator dealer there.
Come check out Beaver lake sometime too- we run into late Oct/early November. Nothing over high 80's here (Since I sold my 25' Daytona)

What part of the lake are you wanting to stay at?
South? The Duck Creek guys will need to chime in.
North (Grove)? Lots of hotels and I might be able to help with a slip for a weekend.

These pine lodge resorts are fairly new.

The lake was pretty dead this past weekend and the weather was beautiful. I finally saw P-Offshore's Gladiator, and that thing is BAD A$$. Where were you at Rebar?

I will second Pine Lodge. I have some friends that stay there all the time and love it covered slips, log cabin and hot tubs on back deck.

Unfortunately not. I'm heading out to Vegas tomorrow which isn't a bad alternative. It looks like its going to be another excellent weekend for boating though. Not too many left.
