Default Bravo1 How high X with std water intakes?

I have a single engine deep v that I am installing a bravo drive on. I am installing it so that the X is at 18.5" so the exhaust lines up to the existing holes. How high can a standard drive still get sufficient water flow? thanks, chris

Pantera usually sets their X at 17 1/2 frome the factory. You should be fine at 18 1/2. At that height , your prop shaft should be somewhere around 4 - 4 1/2 below the bottom of your boat

My 24 excalibur ran great with a bravo set so that a straight edge running the bottom of the keel would hit at the dead center of the standard bravo intake grill when the driveshaft was parrallel to the bottom. No problems, not sure how that translated into other dimensions, other than the guy who set it said it was 2 1/2" higher than stock.....................boat ran 80 with less than 500hp.
